The two were among eight players who self-isolated after Krunal tested positive on Tuesday. Shikhar Dhawan’s Indian team lost the T20 three-game series to Sri Lanka on Thursday after the squad was reduced to just 11 players outside the net bowlers.
Tour from India to Sri Lanka: Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gowtham along with six other cricketers besides Krunal Pandya will remain in Colombo while the rest of the squad return on Friday according to ESPN Cricinfo.

@ 1:15 p.m .: Although Krishnappa Gowtham and Yuzvendra Chahal tested negative in the 1st round of RT-PCR tests, they came back positive on Friday in the 2nd test according to Sri Lankan doctors.

Tour from India to Sri Lanka: Being close contacts with Krunal, they stayed away from the rest of the squad and did not participate in the last two T20Is after Krunal’s test came back positive. Krunal Pandya, meanwhile, was transferred to another hotel.
