The Ajman Ministry of Tourism Development executed its first ever business activation through a tri-city workshop held in Ahmedabad, Delhi and Bengaluru on September 20, 21 and 22 respectively, which saw a constructive and educational session of selected agents in each city who are keen to promote the many facets of the Ajman destination.
The workshop was designed to expose the Indian private sector to Ajman’s seamless connectivity from Dubai and Sharjah, the latest tourism products and the plethora of leisure hotels that clients and travelers can experience in the most emerging from the United Arab Emirates. He also highlighted the region’s potential to be a top destination for couples planning a wedding outside the country due to its stunning beachfront properties and cultural goodwill. The main objective of the workshop was to make Ajman a destination that can serve as a gateway to discover the different facets of the United Arab Emirates.
Speaking on ADTD’s first-ever initiative in the Indian market, Khadija Turki, Acting Director General of Ajman’s Ministry of Tourism Development, said, “India’s outbound travel market has shown positive signs of recovery and we recognize its potential for outperformance in the month ahead. Capitalizing on these developments, ADTD is excited to introduce its products and experiences to the Indian private sector and attract more Indian travelers to visit Ajman. Through the workshops held in the three key cities of India, we aim to raise awareness among travel agents and enable them to position Ajman as an exciting destination for travelers visiting the UAE and looking for unique experiences. . We are confident that the workshop participants will act as catalysts and ensure an increase in Indian visitation to Ajman.
