Culinary Revolution at Hotel and Restaurant Management Technology Event in India

One of the highlights of the Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble (CHE) 2021 which is organized for December 9, 2021, is “Sustainable Indian Diet – For a Healthy Future 2021”. This is a research-driven competition where participants must submit a research article highlighting dietary habits, health benefits, sustainable milestones and recommendations to specific target groups.

The second All India Korean Culinary Challenge is organized for December 11, 2021 by the Korean Cultural Center India and the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management, New Delhi. This year the event will take place in a hybrid fashion – a mix of online and offline – with the category also being divided into professional hotel management and culinary school students and open to all. Participants are kindly requested to submit their own cooking video of one of the Korean dishes of their choice using AN authentic recipe or an innovative fusion with Indian cuisine.

There will also be competitions like the ‘2021 Healthy Millet Recipe Contest’ and ‘Dress the Cake Challenge 2021’. These competitions aim to show skills through cooking and that food can still be created in a pleasant way while ensuring that communication is maintained with each other through digital platforms.

The short videos shared by entrants will be judged by a panel of distinguished judges who will specifically examine the recipes, technique, passion, product knowledge and tackling skills to determine the finalists and the final winner. All winners and participants will receive a printed certificate confirming their participation in the 20th Virtual Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble 2021

The Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble aims to provide an opportunity for aspiring hospitality management professionals by giving them a platform to demonstrate their previously discovered talents.

Some of the other major competitions of the event are the “Chandiwala Future Chef Contest 2021”, “Hospitality Brain Twister 2021”, “Bar Wizard Bar Challenge 2021”, “Dress the Cake Challenge 2021”, “Chandiwala Towel Origami Competition” and ” Oxford Hospitality Brain Twister 2021. “

These challenges will test the culinary knowledge and skills of aspiring student chefs from various hotel management colleges and PAN India professional chefs via virtual mode due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.
