Etihad resumes flights from some Indian cities

Etihad Airways has again launched its flights from five Indian cities. The cities mentioned by the airline are Chennai, Kochi, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Trivandrum. The move was made after the United Arab Emirates eased travel restrictions on travelers from India.

Etihad Airways launched its flights from August 7. However, it should be noted that this does not mean that Indians can just fly to Dubai now. The UAE government has not completely lifted the ban. Under the new rules, UAE citizens and transit passengers from India will be allowed to travel to UAE from India, including from the cities mentioned above.

Etihad suspended all flights to India last month and decided to continue the suspensions until mid-August. However, the rules have been revised and reservations have resumed.

While flights from India have already started, Etihad will also begin flights from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 10. Therefore, flights from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Karachi, Ahmedabad, Lahore, Islamabad, Dhaka and Coimbatore will resume.

All UAE residents, students and even professionals can now visit the country, while Indian students who wish to transit through the country can also do so. But, they must produce a negative COVID report.

According to the latest travel guidelines, you must bring a negative RT-PCR report that was made within 48 hours of flight departure. In addition, it must be taken in an approved laboratory.
