Gujarat to unveil India’s tallest space observatory

In order to improve tourism, the government of Gujarat is planning to unveil India’s tallest space observatory! The state already has few amazing world-class attractions with the Gujarat Statue, which is the tallest statue in the world. This space observatory was suggested by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government started working on the project afterwards.

Reports say that the 140m space observatory will be built at Dharoi Dam, which is close to Narendra Modi’s hometown, Vadnagar. A sum of around INR 1041 crore will be spent on this project and will be built on a huge area of ​​1500 acres. The probable time to build this huge project is three years.

Along with promoting tourism in Gujarat, the government hopes that the observatory will also play a vital role in improving the neighboring regions. An increase in the number of tourists is also expected.

Among the main features of the space observatory would be a gallery of telescopes through which different planets can be seen. There will also be an astronomical observatory and viewpoints. People can even walk to an open-air observation deck for unforgettable views from the sky.

A café and a hotel would also be part of the project, as well as an amphitheater that could accommodate around 2,500 people.
