South African Tourism Accelerates India Travel Recovery Efforts With 4-City Tour | Pune News

PUNE: Building on its extensive revival efforts in India, South African tourism is set to host its biggest independent travel trade initiative in India – its annual roadshow, officials said.
This in-person roadshow will be the first post-pandemic mega-event and will visit the 4 Indian cities of Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Mumbai from March 7-11.
Capitalizing on the massive growth potential offered by the Indian outbound traveler segment, the approximately 20-member South African business delegation will use the opportunity to educate and enable Indian business partners to sell the destination in a holistic, responsible and safe. In addition to the experiences, representatives from accommodation establishments, destination management companies, South African provinces, SMEs and women-owned businesses will present their products and services, while engaging Indian associates from the travel and trade.
Speaking about the 2022 edition of the roadshow, Neliswa Nkani, Hub Head – MEISEA, South African Tourism said, “We are delighted to showcase the best that South Africa has to offer and bring the destination to life for the Indian travel industry – our biggest endorsers in the market. As a brand, we have big plans for India, which is on our list of top three priority markets globally. By emphasizing the quality of our exhibitors, the roadshow demonstrates our strong commitment to the evolved Indian traveler who seeks value-driven, adventurous, offbeat, diverse and memorable experiences – all in one place!
The Roadshow closely follows the campaign of South African tourism heroes in India this year, “More & More”.
