India tour to England: Sunil Gavaskar claims Virat Kohli’s Indian team is the best Indian cricket team ever – Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar, who was part of the Indian cricket team that won the 1983 World Cup, said Virat Kohli, led by Team India, was the best Indian cricket team in history. He also claimed that Virat et co. will easily win the tour of India in England.

India Tour in England: âThis current team is probably the best in Indian cricket history. Only teams from 1983 to 1986 had similar depth and balance. This team is better though as they recently beat Australia on their own terms and have more game changers with bat and ball. If the sun is out they should win the series easily and if there are cloudy days then they should win but may lose the odd test â, Gavaskar told Quint.

In the third session, only one ball was thrown as the rain returned to play the spoiler. In the second session, India collapsed as visitors lost three fast wickets. Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane all went cheap as James Anderson fired the Indian skipper for a golden duck.
