WelcomHeritage is moving forward with the expansion of its hotel portfolio in some of the country’s most exquisite tourist destinations.
Led by its CEO, Abinash Manghani, WelcomHeritage embarks on an exciting journey of expansion this year. A legendary brand, WelcomHeritage has been instrumental in showcasing the rich heritage and cultural ethos of the various destinations where its properties are located.
Despite the industry-wide challenges caused by the pandemic, WelcomHeritage’s outlook for 2022 is expected to build on the success of the past year. Despite all the challenges, the hotel chain has managed to add highly anticipated new hotels including WelcomHeritage Elysium Resort & Spa, Shimla, WelcomHeritage Badi Kothi, Allahabad and WelcomHeritage Cheetahgarh Resort & Spa, Bera to its portfolio in 2021. WelcomHeritage plans to continue the brand’s expansion nationwide with four planned openings in 2022, including WelcomHeritage Azora, Fort Kochi, WelcomHeritage Ayatana, Ooty, WelcomHeritage Desert Resort, Mandawa and WelcomHeritage Parv Vilas, Solan. When operational, these properties will add 171 keys to WelcomHeritage’s existing inventory of 903 keys.
WelcomHeritage’s positive outlook comes at a time when the third wave of Covid-19 is waning and vaccination coverage in the country has widened. WelcomHeritage is particularly excited about its prospects in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, where it plans to significantly expand its footprints.

Other destinations that WelcomHeritage aims to expand in the near future include Kufri, Chail, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Luni, Chikmaglur, Goa and Wayanad.
